Karen is a native Duluthian that is committed to customer service and integrity. She purchased Real Estate Services in January 2005, and strives to continually improve the way the company serves its clients. She helps buyers and sellers throughout their entire real estate transaction while keeping their personal goals at the forefront.

Karen has a background in education, fundraising, business management and event planning, and currently serves on the Image committee at the Duluth Area Association of Realtors (DAAR). Her dedication to service is helpful to all of her past, present, and future clients.

When not at work, Karen enjoys playing softball and volleyball, snowmobiling, walking her dog, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Vern Emerson

Vern has been helping people sell and buy homes since 1972! He has built a reputation for being one of the best in the Duluth area at customer service and care. He has owned two real estate companies (including Real Estate Services) and has helped train hundreds of REALTORS throughout his career.

Vern started selling real estate while he was an offensive tackle in the NFL. Due to injury, he retired from football, but then decided to dedicate his time fully to the real estate profession. During his career he has been the President, Treasurer, and chairs of several Duluth Area Association of Realtors (DAAR) committees. He currently serves as the President-elect of the Association.

When Vern is not at work he enjoys playing racquetball, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family and friends.
