Karen is a native Duluthian that is committed to customer service and integrity. She purchased Real Estate Services in January 2005, and strives to continually improve the way the company serves its clients and the community at large. She helps buyers and sellers throughout their entire real estate transaction while keeping their personal goals at the forefront.

Karen has a background in education, fundraising, business management and event planning, and currently serves as the President -Elect on the Board of Directors at the Duluth Area Association of Realtors (DAAR). She has been active with the local realtor association since 2003 and has served on a number of sub committees and as a Director on the Board. She will take over as President of the association in October of 2010. Her dedication to service is helpful to all of her past, present, and future clients.

When not at work, Karen enjoys spending time with her family, playing volleyball, walking her dog in Duluth's fabulous parks, reading, and sharing time with friends.

Tad moved to Duluth in 1995 to attend The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD). Tad has worked hard on a number of community issues and always works with others in mind. Since becoming a REALTOR and PROPERTY MANAGER for AVALON ALLIANCE LLC he has worked with numerous first time home buyers, property investors, and families looking for homes that are a good fit.

When not helping others find the properties of their choice, Tad can often be found working for the community as a member of The Duluth Area Chamber of Commerce, Fuse Duluth Leadership Council, Duluth/Superior Eco Rotary, Duluth Superior Art Alliance and as a Board member for the Audubon Center of the Northwoods in Sandstone MN. The values of hard work, honesty, and helping people are what Tad focuses on whether working as a REALTOR, PROPERTY MANAGER or as a member of the community.
